Give Healing and Hope to HOPE Family Services Survivors
During the holiday season, HOPE Family Services works to ensure a festive atmosphere for the families living in our Emergency Shelter, therefore we have pondered how best to help survivors take important steps toward hope and healing during the holiday season.
We have created a few ways you can help HOPE Family Services ensure that each of the children and their parents experience a sense of belonging, hope and empowerment for the New Year.
* Embrace a Family for the Holidays. You, your family or neighbors can embrace a family this holiday season and purchase specific items from a survivor's wish list. To help put a sparkle in their eyes, contact Maria Briones at (941)747-8499 and be matched with one of our families.
* Fill the Holiday gift shop. We would like our survivors to experience the excitement of Christmas so we are creating a Holiday gift shop for the moms living at the shelter. Each mom will have an opportunity to shop for their little ones. By donating a gift, you can give our survivors the joy of shopping for that special item so they can be a part of making the holiday feel safe and happy for their family this year.
