Stepping Out
Against Domestic
Violence

Stepping Out Against Domestic Violence is a walk in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This event is not a race, it is an opportunity for the community to walk together in support of positive social change to stop the cycle of violence with this generation. There is no registration fee, although we do encourage individuals and teams to set fundraising goals. There is no minimum fundraising amount and the event is open to men, women, and children of all ages. Stepping Out Against Domestic Violence is an opportunity for friends, families and coworkers to raise awareness and funds to prevent violence in our community and to help those affected by domestic violence. Strollers & dogs are welcome and signs* are encouraged (*signs are at the event coordinator's discretion, please no political signs). Join us for a morning of fitness, inspiration, camaraderie, and most importantly, to "step out" in support of a violence-free future.
95% of Florida's domestic violence victims never called a state certified domestic violence center for help. The good news is HOPE's services work to keep victims of domestic violence safe. The bad news is we are not reaching all of our community members. Please help HOPE spread the word.
