METV and BTN Films is proud to announce the premier screening of the documentary
A WAY OUT
A compelling look at the tragedy of domestic violence.
The premier screening will be at the
Manatee Performing Arts Center on October 24th.
This project takes us inside the world of law enforcement, the judicial system and social agencies as they deal with domestic violence and its aftermath. METV and BTN Films have produced a series of award-winning documentaries on social issues that inform, enlighten and educate. The Enduring Beauty of Memory produced in 2014, looked at the fragile nature of memory and its significance in each of our lives. Through the Tunnel looked at the anguish of segregation and integration told through the eyes of living participants. Both documentaries won Best documentary honors and were featured as part of the Sarasota Film Festival. A WAY OUT is a story that tells of the horror of domestic violence from first hand occurrences, but also provides inspiration that indeed there is a way out.
